Rather
than following the colors on the map you may want to use these detailed
instructions that do not entirely correspond to each of the coloring
patterns.
Approaching
from the North: Drive
west from Edmonton on highway 16.
Just past the turn to highway 43 north is 770
(Rge Rd 23), turn left (south) on to 770 and follow it to
township road 512 (small sign for Holborn Hall) and turn left (east). Go east on Twp
Rd 512, 1.5 km to Rge Rd 22
(the first right). Turn right (south) and follow for 3.3
km to Twp Rd 510 at
the ‘T’ intersection and turn left (east). After 1
km, at the first right turn,
look for the sign marking the River Lodge (the sign is big, but is back
on the lane partially obscured by trees). Turn right (south) into the
lane and follow until you reach the lodge.
Note: If you have come west
from Edmonton on 627, at the left turning point 770
is only identified as Rge
Rd 23.
Approaching from the South: From Hwy 2 drive west at Hwy 19 (At Nisku about 3 km north of the airport turn off) for 11.5 km to Hwy 60. Turn right (north) towards Devon. Follow Hwy 60 for 5.7 km to Gramina Rd (just past the river). Turn left (west) and follow Gramina Rd (Twp Rd 511) for 9.5 km to a T intersection at Rge Rd 273. Turn right (north) onto Rge Rd 273 and follow 1.1 km to Twp Rd 512. Turn left (west) onto Twp Rd 512 and follow it for 16.9 km to Rge Rd 21 on the left. Turn left (south) onto Rge Rd 21 and follow it for 3 km to a T at Twp Rd 510. Turn right (west) onto Twp Rd 510 and follow it 0.5 km to the River Lodge lane on your left. Turn left (south) into the lane and follow it to the lodge.
