Steps
To Creating And Maintaining Successful Relationships With Yourself And
Others

What
a fantastic workshop!
Thursday
evening, open to the general public, was an opportunity for people to
sample this style of workshop. It
was the opening of the exploration of successful relationships.
There was information given in response to an open
question-discussion format.
During
the weekend, as safety was created through guidelines and interactions
with each other, we explored the importance of being able to speak up
about our needs, desires, and boundaries.
Kelly mentioned that it was important when we take risky steps
into deeper vulnerability and openness, to travel back in time to let
that part of us that doesn’t feel safe know that we have taken the
time to heal and have changed. It
builds confidence that things are safer than they may have been in the
past.
Kelly
explained that we truly move forward in relationships if we take the
steps to do what is best for us individually.
As we love ourselves more, we take greater steps forward in our
lives. This makes us
naturally more attractive. To
find out who is truly called to be in our lives, and not just a
distraction, we can keep working on, and loving ourselves.
Then we can see who shows up to join us in relationship.
Rather than getting polarized into independence or dependency in
our relationships, we can move towards the balancing point of
interdependence. This allows for more intimate connections.
Through
the use of small and large group interactions, we explored ways of
releasing the old idea that we need to earn each sweet moment in
relationship. This can be replaced with the willingness to open to
receiving those sweet moments, just because we inherently deserve them.
We
were able to heal deep sexual wounds by exploring areas we felt shame or
shamed about. We were able
to work through seeing the essence in everyone.
After taking ownership of mistakes, healing was achieved through
forgiveness. Not condoning
inappropriate actions, but continuing to keep our hearts open and loving
the essence in others.
The
love and support felt at the workshop continues.
Connections have been maintained through phone calls, e-mails,
social events, and through Kelly’s web-site.
I
am grateful for those who attended the workshop, sharing their hearts
and souls to make healing changes in all of our lives.
I am grateful that we are taking what we have learned and are
sharing it with our families, friends, communities, and the rest of the
world.
I
am grateful for the efforts of the Team in creating a safe, supportive,
loving space for healing change to happen.
Kelly,
I am grateful for the way you share what you have learned, for your
love, and that you truly care.
What
we all do makes a difference in this world.
Thank you.
