Create
The Relationships You Have Always Wanted By Learning To More Fully Love
Yourself
What a pleasant surprise the
change to the Thursday night format was. After agreeing to
confidentiality, we were able to experience a little of what the actual
workshop experience would be like. Even though we were able to
explore some emotional issues, without the container of guidelines, we
weren't able to go to the depths we were able to reach at the actual
workshop itself.
Thank you to those who came out on the weekend to support what we do and
so that the workshop could happen.
After setting a container of safety, by agreeing to guidelines, we
started getting familiar with each other through interacting with our
small groups.
We learned that to truly love ourselves, there had to be congruence
between body, emotion, mind, and soul. We discussed relationship
fears and explored other people’s perceptions of us.
We continued to build trust so that we could open up our emotional
bodies. We found out it was o.k. to be who we are, in whatever
space we are in emotionally.
We gathered insights and feedback from our journaling and from our small
group discussions.
We were also able to enjoy having fun, laughing, and dancing.
We learned how to open to receive the love that is around us and to
accept our humanness.
We discovered that we have an Essence at our foundation and we are not
our behaviours.
Our small group appreciations grounded what we learned and how to put it
to use in our everyday lives.
Through the feeling of safety that was present through connections we
made with each other, we received new perspectives, support, love, and
hope.
Hope to see you at the next workshop in April!
