If
we were to agree that no one in our families has completely perfected
the art of living in fulfillment, 24 hours a day, everyday, then it
would follow that there are dysfunctional patterns running in each of
our families.
The
family systems we grew up in have deep influences on how we interact
with life. Some of the ways we have been trained to interact may no
longer serve us.
Understanding
how the dynamics in family systems develop and influence us is the first
step in untangling what is valuable from what is detrimental. With
proper support we can release what no longer serves – freeing
ourselves to live with more clarity and fulfillment.
Learning
to heal the dysfunctions from our families of origin will give us the
tools to create a healthier family of our own.
Most
of us have faced some difficult situations in our childhood, for example
you may have experienced:
Ø
Painful
divorce or separation of your parents
Ø
Watching
your parents fight and argue
Ø
Struggling
with your siblings
Ø
Competing
for love and attention
Ø
Feeling
rejected, unloved, unwanted, unsupported
Ø
Desperately
trying to fit in at school or with your peer-groups
Ø
Being
shut-down for expressing yourself
Ø
Enduring
physical, sexual or mental abuse
Ø
Feeling
forced to grow up too fast
The
hurt that arises in family systems is so painful that much of it gets
buried in our subconscious as an attempt to numb it out. We may think
that ignoring the past will take care of it.
Unfortunately this cripples us from within – creating sabotage
in our lives without us being aware of its source.
So,
how can we heal our past?
When
we respond by facing, overcoming, and learning from our past experiences
they no longer hold us back. The process of healing the past opens us to
more of our internal gifts and strengths, making them available in the
present.
This
gathering can help you clear many of your present issues that you may
not have previously linked to wounds or patterns that were set up in
your past. Giving opportunities for:
Ø
A
deeper understanding and appreciation of yourself
Ø
Better
relationships with others
Ø
Enhancing
and balancing your emotional life
Ø
A
greater capacity for intimacy
Ø
An
increase in your joy and playfulness
Ø
A
fuller connection with Spirit
Ø
More
clarity of purpose
Ø
Heightened
creativity and productivity
Ø
An
expanded receptivity to abundance
Ø
Enriched
sexual connection
Ø
An
unfolding of your natural gifts and talents
Ø
A
deeper understanding and openness to love
This gathering can provide lots of expert guidance, support, and gentle encouragement to anyone with a desire to move forward in their lives. You are invited to come and join us, to heal your past, and to enrich your present life.
