Understanding
and Enhancing Sexuality
This
workshop is for those who:
Ø
Are having difficulties with their sexuality and want
to clear up sexual confusions and/or sexual wounding.
Ø
Are satisfied with their sex life but want to enhance
it still further.
Ø
Want to discuss sexuality in a safe non-shaming
environment.
Ø
Desire to build sexual compatibility by more fully
understanding their own unique sexuality and the unique sexuality of
others.
Ø
Are dealing with a sexual desire that overshadows other
areas of value.
Ø
Wish to increase their ability to access more passion,
lifeforce energy, and creativity.
Distortions
and wounds around sexuality are commonplace and can affect many of our
interactions. During our development they can be taken on with or
without our conscious awareness.
Some
examples of things that can affect us:
v
Being made wrong about childhood experimentation and
body exploration.
v
Being taught that nakedness is shameful.
v
Moving into the changes of adolescence with no mature
guidance as to what is happening to our body and sexual desires.
v
Being teased or harassed by peers or family members
about our bodies.
v
Being told our individual preferences in sexuality are
wrong.
v
Comparing our experiences unfavorably to the sexual
experiences of others.
v
Experiences of molestation or rape.
v
Feeling shame about sex out of wedlock.
v
Being shamed for a pregnancy.
v
Experiencing a miscarriage or an abortion.
v
Being judged for the differences in sexual appetite
within couples.
v
Being told during sex, with judgment, that we are too
slow, too fast, too gentle, too rough, too emotional, too distant, too
kinky, too straight-laced, too big, too small, too talkative, too quiet.
v
Being taught that we owe sex to our partner.
v
Being taught to withhold and use sex as a bargaining
chip.
v
Feeling shamed for our sexual attractions.
Come
join in a safe, non-shaming environment to clear the confusion, the
misunderstandings and the emotional scars around our sexuality. We can
then live more congruently with our true sexual expression.
Some
of the benefits to be gained are:
Ø
Grounding in a confidence in yourself as a sexual
being.
Ø
An expanded level of passion and creativity in all
areas of life.
Ø
An understanding of your partner’s sexual
motivations, preferences, priorities and why they respond the way they
do.
Ø
A deeper appreciation of yourself, of your partner, and
of others.
Ø
Creating a more natural flow in your sexuality.
Ø
Learning how and when to say no, and when to say yes,
in a way that honors your integrity and is respectful to others.
Ø
Understanding how to create unity between sexuality,
emotions and spirituality, which leads to sacred-sexuality and deep
intimacy.
Ø
Understanding how your history affects your sexuality.
Ø
Clearing sexual trauma.
Ø
Clearing attractions towards rebellious or destructive
sexuality that does not honor what is really true for you.
Ø
Opening yourself to receiving your divine gift of sexuality.
All sexual gender preferences will
be honored.
Note: This workshop will not involve any hands-on sexual activity.
